How to Support Haiti Earthquake Relief
We recommend two way to give funds to help with Haiti earthquake relief and recovery:
You may give funds to Haiti by writing a check to the Episcopal Diocese of Alabama, with "Haiti Earthquake Relief" in the Memo line. You may send these checks directly to The Episcopal Diocese of Alabama, Carpenter House, at 521 20th Street North, Birmingham, Alabama 35203 or you may send them through your parish.
Because of our companion relationship with the Diocese of Haiti we have several contacts who can help us direct funds to the most pressing needs in the areas in which we have been working, and they can assist us in getting funds to the appropriate relief workers.
Alternatively, parishioners may also write a check to "Episcopal Relief & Development" and put "Haiti Earthquake Relief" in the memo line. These checks may also be sent to Carpenter House. We will forward them to Episcopal Relief & Development who will be working with their local partners and the church to make these funds available for the people of Haiti.
