The season of Lent is known as a special time of preparing for Easter. The forty days of Lent extend from Ash Wednesday, (February 14 this year) through Holy Saturday, (March 31 this year) omitting Sundays. Confused yet? Don't worry! Just know that you are invited to the observance of a holy Lent with others who are walking the journey with you to Resurrection day!
