The bishop will meet with the Vestry at 9:00 a.m., followed by a meeting with the Confirmands at 9:25 a.m.
A reception in Tyler Hall will immediately follow the worship service. Grace ECW is coordinating the reception and asks that everyone bring a food item to share. Please bring items that are already cooked and ready to serve on the serving plate you bring. ECW is happy to warm things if needed, just please have the items cooked and ready to serve.
Ever wonder what a bishop actually does? The bishop is the chief priest (also known as the shepherd) of our diocese. Bishops are charged with serving as a pastor to our clergy and the shepherd that protects our faith and the word of God through our church. Our bishop is the authority of our diocese to act in Christ’s name. Bishops visit each church to baptize and confirm members.
